• Aji Cristal (C. baccatum)

  Absolutely great variety from Curico, Chile. The taste is so good. It tastes completely different depending on the growing stage. The besting tasting pods can be enjoyed by picking them from the plant before they turn their color into red. Great as fresh practically with any food. The ordinary and smoked powder made from this variety is also insanely tasty! This variety was available all around the Finland as fresh in vegetable shelves and was made quite known in Finland by Fatalii Gourmet. The plant is easy to grow and it’s extremely prolific. Ideal when picked by using staggered harvesting. Just keep picking off the largest pods and you can enjoy yield for all season long.

• Pimenta da Neyde (C. chinense)

  One of the strangest chili peppers ever seen! Mature pods won’t change the color, but stay purple instead.
  Very, very pretty looking plant with lots of even prettier pods with a great aroma. Very hot. Can be grown as useful bonsai / bonchi-ornamental. Clearly has some C. annuum genes as well. Grows taller more like C. annuums, unlike most C. chinenses.
  Extremely rare!

  Challenge: 1 (quite easy to grow).

• Siberian Indoor Pepper (C. annuum)

  Very delightful small chili pepper variety which actually does very well when grown indoors.
  It even tolerates shadier conditions better than most chili peppers, but fruiting always requires plenty of light with all chili peppers.
  These wonderful medium hot pods ripen from green to red. Grows very well even in small pots.

  Challenge: 1 (easy to grow)

• Sweet Apple Kambe (C. annuum)

  What a tasty treat this one is! The flesh of these pods are very very thick. Very sweet, great tasting, useful and very pretty sweet pepper variety. A definitely a must have for any grower! It ripens from light yellow to red with some purple markings under a strong light.
  Heat level varies from a 0 to little hint of heat.
